Who is Vin Downes?

Vin Downes music has ranked in the top 10 of the ZMR Radio Airplay chart and has reached #1 one the One World Music Album chart. In 2015, Downes was a ZMR nominee for Best Instrumental Album Acoustic. He has released four studio albums, two of which were recorded and produced by Grammy award-winning guitarist and producer, Will Ackerman, and award-winning engineer/producer, Tom Eaton.

There is a magic in trusting yourself and being open to meeting new people, Strangers. I did... NYC is strange that way. Ideas come from strange places and you have to trust the Universe when the magic happens, and believe that you deserve it. Take a few minutes this holiday season and trust yourself and the magic. When it does, and it will, you will start building a new you.

What is the cost of fear? Has fear of the unknown held you back from your true calling? In this episode of The Heartfelt Truth, we discuss the importance of conquering fear. I discuss my own personal fears when it comes to graduation, choosing a career and pursuing a career change.

How to master the fear of the unknown
1. To dissolve the fear of the unknown, you first have to understand what it is that you fear. If you truly have a love for what you want to do, examine the cause of your fear. 

2. Brainstorm ways to minimize risk and hurdles. It’s important to trust your gut and move from fear to a “I can do this.” 
3. Take the first step. Take control of your destiny. Set the motion towards your dreams and the universe will reward you.

Think of how far you can travel without fear of the unknown. Take 15 minutes to feel inspired, rewire your brain and build a new you.
